Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

does anyones 996 suffer from a heavy clutch? i have just had mine serviced, they said its not going to go (yet) but it is very heavy..... although maybe its because i have been driving round in a VW polo for 2 days [ ]

POST 2Original post

I know that on the new VW polos the clutch feels like there is nothing there and i would say that a couple of days in one then back in the 996 it would be heavy in comparison?

POST 3Original post

I drove a Carrera 996 4 cab for the first time recently and found the clutch to be incredibly heavy after driving a Boxster for about 18 months. The acceleration was, however, remarkable.
