All, My 'new;' 996 has PCM1 with the incredibly unhelpful cassette and slow sat nav. I'm looking to replace it with the following kit: Kenwood NV-DX8732 package which includes the KNA-DV3200 and DDR8027 Kenwood KCA-iP500 iPod adapter Kenwood KNA-TM320 TMC adapter Which should give it a new touch screen with DVD sat nav (with TMC), iPod control and as a bonus I could also play MP3 CDs, DVDs and DVD videos. Has anyone else done this or anything similar? Do you know if there is a way on a third party system to display the onboad computer settings? Thanks, Mike

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I think Gaxor did this on his 996TT, over a year ago. Try a search.
Found it - thanks for the tip! Cheers, Mike
