Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have recently bought a 993 (1996). The previous owner would appear to have parked nose on to a low kerb and pushed the lower front valence out of line on both sides. These pieces appear to be plastic. I imagine this is a common problem. If I get under there, would I be able to 'clip' them back in to place? Is it easily repaired, or am I looking at a huge bill? Any advice? Cheers Migration info. Legacy thread was 38897

Can't answer for sure. But genuine P spoiler bits are polyurethane. Some after-market stuff is fibreglass and can be difficult to fit properly. As I understand it, it all fits quite simply via screws and bolts. But it's fiddly and takes time on a 993. (It's simpler - and cheaper at bodyshops - on a 996.) Migration info.
