Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello fellow 996 owners, I've had my 1999 Guards Red-full black Leather-6speed-C2, for a little of two Months. I'm still finding sites to get and share information. I've gotten parts from Pelican part for my BMWs but didn't know they also had a Forum. Well, just wanted to say HI, C'ya,

POST 5Original post

Welcome! Your car looks stunning, especially refreshing now that Guards red is less common on these newer cars than during the 1980's.

Thanks for the welcome. Do most of ya'll watch sites like Rennlist, Renntech, 6speedonline? As I said, I just found out about this site. I'm a big DIYer and have found these three sites a big help. I live too far from any 'real' shops so I have to do all of my own work; no problem though, I've been wrenching on car for over 40 years, and kind of like it. In the beginning I had to because I didn't have any money.....now it's because I have cars that the basic shop know nothing about (I just sold a 91 850i BMW-V-12 engine with 6 speed transmission) and I really don't trust anybody wrenching on my cars. Again, thanks for the welcome and ya'll have a great weekend,
