Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Morning All, So I am a long time lurker on this forum. I've had 3 911's over the years. Starting with a 911E, then a 964 and finally a 993. I've not had a 911 now for 10 years after a messy divorce and I've finally got the cash together. I think I want a 996 and I quite look the look of the CSR ones. I saw the one sell on car and classic a few months back and that would have been prefect for me but I was still waiting for a flat to sell. I would also be tempted by a 3.9 Harlech conversion that I could add the ducktail, fuch wheels and centre console delete to. This was the car that sold recently for approx 20k which I think is a lot of car for the money How often do they become available? Ironically I even have an empty heated garage so can you help me fill it? Simon

POST 2Original post

CSR was a aftermarket kit if you like, done by RPM, I can’t fully remember what option there were but loads of YouTube videos about them. Safe place to put your money in a Hartech car. Welcome to 911uk

POST 3Original post

find the correct car, then upgrade the interior and exterior style to what you need, don't need a CSR for that

POST 4Original post

Everytime I've read the spec on the csr cars, there doesn't seem to be much that's special. Maybe the top end cars are better, but they're certainly nothing that can't be done to a decent standard car.

That's interesting sim996. Looks like a nice car but it has a tip gearbox.

Rindt were advertising a nice looking C2 manual non sunroof car yesterday on Instagram. £16k

Of you look at the spec, it's basically a standard car with a few bolt ons. You could easilly pick up a better car privately and get your own CSR sticker from Ebay.

Reminds me of tge dealer specials from the 90s - slap some random stuff on from the parts bin, add some stickers and sell to the easily led as a 'special edition'
