Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello, We've all heard about the RMS/Case porosity issues: my question is, is that a problem of defective parts, such that only, for example, one in five engines would be affected? Or is the issue rather a design flaw, such that all engines are succeptible and the problem would manifest as a result of some driving behavior? If so, what sort of driving behavior is risk behavior? Also, has anyone noticed that the quick link on the PelicanParts homepage for the 996 BBS takes you to the 993/964 BBS?

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
