Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've just printed a centre console delete in ABS. It comes in 3 parts. 2 large pieces that make the main unit and a flat piece that goes between the centre console and the gear lever. A couple of questions 1 - The main "body" of the delete is printed in 2 parts. I assume they should be glued together to make a single unit. 2 - Does anyone have any pictures of a genuine delete which is already covered as I want to understand how to approach covering and where edges need to be covered etc. 3 - the flat piece that goes ahead of the gear lever - is it covered in carpet or painted to match the painted centre piece that contains the armrest / handbrake / gear lever 4 - I have C50 carpet. Any known stockists for a small amount? Alternatives may be grey leather to match the dash or household carpet matching C50 - however, how thick or thin dies it needs to be? Thanks in advance

I don't have the info you require but will be watching with interest.

POST 3Original post

its been suggested on here to purchase a cheap, secondhand panel in the required colour as a way of getting the right carpet - something like an engine cover from a boxster etc

You are doing a fine job and look forward to seeing how it turns out

POST 5Original post

Also watching with interest as I have this to fit, but haven't yet due to getting the right colour carpet or leather. I have considered trying to get a custom paint made to closely match the leather in the car, but haven't got very far with that so far.
