Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Which Oil level should I go by please My Dipstick shows as on the mark Oil level meter shows it is over filled Feel it is safer to go by the meter as It also looks over filled Thanks

POST 2Original post

My personal opinion would be to trust the dipstick over the electronic meter readout. John.

POST 3Original post

Like John I'd be more inclined to trust the dipstick. The meter relies upon the the correct operation and calibration of an electrical/electronic system. Obviously, just make sure that you're on level ground when taking the measurement. Jeff
