Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

This is a pretty good discussion forum for general Porsche nattering. For more detailed 944 chat try rennlist.com or a yahoo subscriber group (email based). There are plenty of good specialists in Oxon - you are spoilt for choice. A few examples... - Autofarm - BS Motorsport - Bob Watson Engineering - Northway - JZ Machtech - G-Force motorsport Most of these can be found on google if you need more info. Rgds Domster PS Enjoy your 944 - I've had an S2 and a Turbo PPS The UK PA1000 alarm or whatever it is called, should be Thatcham listed, but it depends on your insurer. Specialist Porsche brokers like Nowell and Richards are more likely to accept it than Direct Line etc. >> Edited by domster on Thursday 2nd May 16:26

Hi, i am new to Porsche ownership, i have just purchased an 89 944 S2 Cabriolet. Are there any email based discussion groups that people know off. Also if any one can recomend any independant garages in the Oxford area i would be greatful. Also, does anyone know if the standerd alarm / imobilser is Thatcham approved? Many thanks Al
