I think you get it if you buy an official warranty from an OPC. Don't see why you couldn't buy an official warranty on a privately bought car - after the fact as it were. Try calling your local OPC. Can't hurt. It is a tad expensive mind (700-800 p.a. )

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I don't want the warranty just the UK & European breakdown assistance bit. I saw a reference to it in a recent Running Report in 911 & Porsche World where the guy bought a car from Paragon and then purchased PA for £150. Only problem is it doesn't give any details of where he purchased it from, also not sure if it only applies to cars of a certain age/mileage etc.
You can buy the Porsche Assistance on its own I have just purchased as my car is now 2 years old, you dealer will give you the number if you ask failing that contact Porsche HQ
Thanks.
Number if anyone is interest is 0208 666 9250. Unfortunately they only cover UK spec cars.
Can this be purchased separately for any Porsche or is it only available for thos cars bought via OPC's ? Jim
