I just can't seem to figure out if the 911 has a LSD or not. Here is how I understand the situation: The 997 Carrera 2 (version 1) didn't have and LSD but the Carrera 4 did? The LSD wasn't an option on the C2? The GT3, GT3RS and Turbo all had LSD as standard? On the 2009 997 the LSD is offered on the C4, again but not on the C2? What about the 996 and 993. I think that the 993 had the option of an LSD but again, I'm not sure? I would very much appreciate if one of the members could enlighten me about this, I truly don't know.

I just went to the Porsche web site. C2 and C2S both list LSD as an option.

1. Not sure if it was on the 997.1 C4 but not on the C2 standard or as an option. 2. GT cars had them standard turbo had it as an option 3. 997.2 has it standard on the 4 and optional on the 2s 4. 993 had it as an option on some models if you could get your dealer to order it, 996 it was not an official option but apparently some were able to order it. (these are all for US cars which differ from row on occasion)
