Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It is a small problem but my glove box light remains on all the time and I have confirmed the micro switch is functional. On most cars the switch is in series with the lamp but on my car the switch wires are independent and I cannot locate a wiring diagram to troubleshoot the problem. I am unsure if the switch goes back to a relay somewhere? Would anyone have a link to the wiring diagram so I can troubleshoot further? Cheers

POST 2Original post

The glove box, frunk, and engine bay lights are all on the same circuit so if any of them are on, they are all on. This means that if any of the microswitches show the frunk, glove box, rear lid, or even the center console lid are open all the lights are on.
