Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 2Original post

Interesting....especially since the GT basically has the same look right now from the side.

POST 3Original post

Sweet idea! I love Targas and think your artwork looks great. Don't know if you'll have many takers though...the last time Porsche offered a real Targa (in the 964) there were VERY few takers. Would this be made from a 996/997 cab I assume?

POST 5Original post

Nice artwork. Imagining myself on Weisach WOT with the top off. Huh what it is so loud I can't hear you. Oh ok I am back, Sorry. What about the targa not affecting the 996 window configuration. Maybe like like a Weisach version with a removal roof panel. To tell you the truth, love cabs, targas, and coupes! Regards,

POST 6Original post

While I wanted to like it, I found the images to similar to the Corvette, with its wide "rollbar".

POST 7Original post

I like the side views where the rollbar doesn't have the rearward flair. I would love this solution as I've always thought the old targa was the best of both worlds while the new version was just a bigger sunroof.
