Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

my convertible top will not open all the way. The back cowl cover lifts up to let the top down but will not close to hide the compressed top. The top will come back up but it is real choppy when closing. Any ideas of the problem from the group.

The solution will be found here: https://cabriolethydraulics.com Find an Indy who will swap out your cylinders with rebuilt from Cab Hydraulics, Sarasota, FL. I had this work done last year on my 2004 for about $1,200. Porsche dealer 3X. /X3

Anyone know what their DIY kit for the 996 goes for?

POST 7Original post

Mine does the same. One of the side flaps is really slow to open and close causing the clamshell not to fully close. Anyone see this before?
