Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 7Original post

not a pdk fan but pdk or manual still a nice car

POST 8Original post

Yes: this really was - well... still is... a great low mileage, nice condition, good spec car for someone wanting a PDK R. It was priced fairly too. Congratulations to whoever bought it.

POST 9Original post

Priced fairly...how much was it? Does look spot on.

POST 10Original post

Not sure I'd want red seat belts but perhaps I'm becoming an old fart.

POST 15Original post

It was me that bought the car. Asking price was £43k. I can't really say what I paid for it as I p/x'ed my Cayman S Sport for it and I was only interested in the cost to change. So did I pay the full asking price and get a great price on my S or did I get the R for a great price but a low price on the S? Either way I am very happy with the deal and am really looking forward to picking the car up next week. I've not had a PDK car before but am looking forward to learning to get the most out of it. The car is very low mileage but I will use this as my DD hopefully not adding much more than 8k miles each year, Happy days

ChrisW. said: PDK is fab Never wanted an auto before, but it is in fairness, much much more than an auto ! Hi Chris. Unintentionally I seem to be following some of your car choices. On.a track what car would you prefer to drive, your old 964rs or the Cayman R?

POST 22Original post

Lovely lovely car, congrats to the new owner. Enjoy, and I doubt you will need too much time to get the most out of PDK, pedal to the metal and all that! ;-)

Well I picked the car up today and all I can say is WOW. Absolutely cracking and I think this the beginning of a love affair with PDK. The car is now booked on a trackday at Silverstone in May and also on the two day trackday at the Ring in July. Would like to say thanks to Tom at 911 Virgin for a deal I am more than happy with and a car that has more than exceeded my expectations. PS. Sorry Tom,it has been out in the rain.

Hey Dave, You've just bought an amazing car there. The cleanest car I think we've ever sold. Thanks for your kind words and your equally lovely Cayman Sport, which has found a new home in Guernsey already despite best efforts to keep it for myself. Have fun and enjoy those trackdays . Pop in if your ever passing in your 64 RS would be nice to have a butchers. Thanks for the business. Glad you're happy Tom 911virgin

I've had passenger laps in Chris' old 964RS ngt and his Cayman R. I can't say which he would prefer to drive on track but the ngt is pretty much a road going race car and an altogether much rawer experience. With Chris driving both (who is a very quick driver BTW) there's probably not much difference in lap times between the two.
