Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

20 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Liquidated https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/4724876 Seemed to be the go to place, for GT cars for a fair while

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I know Matt wasn't blessed with the best of health over the years. He is a superbly knowledgeable guy.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just been to one of my suppliers next door to Matts place at Silverstone and he has stopped trading. Extremely knowledgeable chap who I got on well with. His skills will be missed Edited by Redarress on Thursday 17th October 14:29

POST 4Original post

Others know more but new focus for Matt, not negative circumstances. Fearnsport were the best!

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

yes I knew it was on the cards. Would have liked to wish him well. He helped me out over the years for which I am very grateful. Always a fantastic selection of cars inside/outside 993RS, 993GT2, 996GT3, Cups, 996GT2 Turbos, 997 ,Gunther Werks 993 Ferrari Challenge etc etc

POST 6Original post

I believe Matt is still trading. Moved to new premises. Other chaps on here will know the full SP

POST 7Original post

He's brilliant, looking forward to his new chapter, whatever it is. The only man to solve a tricky problem on my old 996tt. Nailed it straight away, after months and hundreds in tracking down a seemingly simple issue.

POST 8Original post

On good authority….Matt is in vibrant health and has an exciting new venture. Matt if you are reading this, thanks for everything you did in keeping my 2 mega miles GT3s up to the mark.

POST 9Original post

Is it any coincidence that the liquidators are within a stones throw of Ginetta ?

POST 10Original post

I think so. Ginetta isn’t exactly in a car focused area, it just an industrial unit.

POST 11Original post

Tried my hardest to get Matt to work on my GT3 but he never picked up! Hope his new venture goes well

Devil.Z said: Tried my hardest to get Matt to work on my GT3 but he never picked up! Hope his new venture goes well As I understood it it, he was considering making any initial communication with him, via email, and that was at least 8 years ago.

POST 13Original post

The question is who is No.2 after Matt now that he is 'off the scene' ??? Who should GT owners see now? Is he getting more heavily involved with the new Theon restomod car? I saw him at Silverstone with a green one last year on a track day. Million pound ish cars I think. Pip

POST 14Original post

Matt is in fine fettle, and is very much enjoying his new venture.

POST 20Original post

NDA said: 676 Ltd I assume. I've seen 676 ltd are supposed to be the UK reseller for FVD based tunes for DFI engined Porsche cars.... however unless I'm going mad I can't find any contact details for them?
