Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Winner...
I too went with the Ultimate Cup Holder. I have it tucked in on the passenenger side close to the seat. It is easy to get to and very stable.
It doesn't get any better than this. Remove the lid, drop in the pelican insert into the cavity, remove the upholstery on the lid, get busy with a hole saw, have it re-upholstered. Maybe doesn't fit your request for something simple but it rocks. I had an upholstery guy re-upholstry it but I did the rest.
Who needs cup holders?
Those who have manual transmissions. It's a safety issue.
