Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Question guys I have had my car on the hoist the last few days waiting for my wheels to get refinished. Anyways dropped it off the hoist tonight and went to do a lap around the block 1st fine shift to second triangle symbol flashes and cuts power, even just peddling it slow. Weird.... Turn off PSM away she goes, took it down the road about 4 km turned around came home all fine. Does the psm need to warm up or something? First time it has happened to me.

POST 2Original post

PSM does not need to warm up. Did it happen more than once on your round-the-block trip? When it cuts power/retards the timing, it's sensing that one of the drive wheels is slipping under power (i.e. you're doing a burnout). Because of my suspension setup, I get this occasionally when I accelerate quickly from a stop to make a right turn, but I have never had it cut power in any other circumstance. It's a very disconcerting feeling when it happens - when you're anticipating getting shoved back in the seat and instead you wind up rocking forward in the seat... very much a "WTF" moment.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It did it twice around the block, I turned off psm went away. Turned it back on went down the road and back with it on and it was fine. Not sure what caused it but definitely robbed all power. I'll see tomorrow if something happens.

Lol Took the wife out for her 30th last night no reoccurrence of the trouble. Going to do my season end oil change and transmission service in a week or two and put her away.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Funny you mention that I complain all the time she's too skinny I like curves! She's 5'0" and 110 lbs.
