Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So the other day I noticed the right side of the wing had a larger gap from the fixed part than the left side. The wing has had the shim adjustment and is angled up a bit. This was done by the p.o and I don't have the tool (haven't searched much) to re install. My question is, what could have caused the shifting. I looked for marks and it doesn't look like it was force (no scratches like if a hip hit it, or finger marks)

Maybe the screws on the underside are loose? Maybe loosen and re-tighten? Or you were driving at warp speed and the front end of the car was lifting off the ground causing a 4th Dimension known as "OH SH$T!". I think you just need to re-align it.

+996 Tighten them up and you should be set. I removed my top blade before and it looks like that if you don't tighten both sides.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, that is what I figured, just odd that it came loose. I can probably find it here, but what tools are needed to adjust it? A diy would be great.

. When I had my car I never fussed with adjusting it. I'm thinking it is just a metric allen....maybe a 5 or 6mm (?).

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
