At last found a dealer in which to get one of the first UK cars, placed the order today & now have a week to spec the car. Having a chat about the Cayman Club Sport with the dealer & he said 'you mean the RS Cayman', he had no date on the car but is very confident the car will be produced, I have a Letter Of Intent on the Cayman RS. I would estimate very late 06/early 07we may just see the Cayman RS......wot a car that will be, say bye bye to the 911

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Wow, which dealer was that? Do you know how long Porsche Uk has been accepting orders and deposits on the Cayman S? Hopefully they should be taking orders for the base Cayman......Then the RS......hehe
Porsche Fan, dont go for the base Cayman, the Cayman S will have fun playing with the 911, as for the Cayman RS that will be FUN/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/dance.gif. Sutton Coldfield have our 'S' order & our letter if intent on the Cayman RS. regards Rod
That is very true indeed, btw, i'm too young to drive and I've been trying to persuade my uncle to get a Cayman or Cayman S, i guess it comes down to how much price difference there will be and what his missus says. I'm sure pretty soon that DMS Automotive will have performance upgrades for the Cayman which will be handy.....Evo magasine reviewed the tuned 911, with 500+hp, can't remember quite how much....But they can tune it up to 850bhp. That was supposedly a right hoot, as was their BMW 535d once it was tuned.....But hey, power isn't everything. The Cayman upgrades will be good. It may work out better to get a base Cayman and add the upgrade, mainly because you have the time to spread the cost. DMS are pretty good when it comes to tuningEuropean cars - Porsche/BMW/Mercs in particualr.
