Has anyone heard when the interior options starting with an 'X' will become available? In particular I'm trying to find out about thethicker sport steering wheel (XPA) which isn't being accepted for my Dec build. I've read all the posts about the sport shifter not being available with some people being told it was a part available issue, but since I couldn't get any 'X' option accepted I'm beginning to doubt that is really the problem.
I've already passed on a Nov build hoping to get these options in Dec so any help would be appreciated.
i saw notes in the UK configuration, i think, where it stated on some X items (when you try to add them) that there was an approx availability date of Dec 2005...i also am doing the same thing and going with a Jan build date to see what they may have by then...!
FWIW my dealer said XME and XSA (which was I interesed in) will be 6-9 month wait according to PCNA. Whether that's true or just PCNA BS I can't say.

i took my november build even though the sport shifter and red belts 'weren't' currently available. my dealer offered to order them now as parts and do the install for me when the car arrives. he was kind enough to discount the car to offset the higher price of doing this.
I ditto w/ Daedton. The dealer will install my red belts/Gauges and body colored center consle unless they become available between now and the build date. I think they will charge me the same as Porsche would have so no foul there. By the way the adaptive seat option seems Pricey. I'm thinking of going with Euro GT3 seats for under 3K$US if I get into heavy tracking. I am wondering about a roll bar/ Harness truss though.
