Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 6Original post

I saw one from a few year back. Do a search. here is one on a cab. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...y-996-cab.html

POST 7Original post

The engine lid on a 996 Turbo is wider, so I don't know how it would be done but I'm sure with enough time and money anything is possible I think mashaw makes an aftermarket one that fits a NB but I don't think it has the spoiler lifting mechanism. Not sure how that would look on a MkI, there must be some out there.

POST 8Original post

actually it is possable to install it on a NB... i have seen it on a 996 Yellow Cab locally, dont know what work is required...

here are pics. http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/9...ml#post1434831

POST 10Original post

The amount of work required to make it happen would cost more than the value of the car.

Thats a replica, always in the "erect" position...

POST 12Original post

I don't find it to be aesthetically pleasing either.

I would agree there are some much better looks for a MK1 wing.

POST 14Original post

you cannot fit the turbo spoiler on a C4s. I tried. The metal 'piece' right below the rear windscreen is a lot taller than the turbo's. You would need significant bodywork to make this fit. Not worth it for 14 lbs of downforce.
