Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does any know if this breather pipe can be changed by threading it through the inlet manifolds or do they have to come off. I'm presuming a new will be more flexible than the old original.

POST 2Original post

It is much easier with the intake manifolds removed. It’s possible to install it without removing them, but you will probably be very frustrated. I know I would be. Take the opportunity to address other nearby items that may need attention.

POST 3Original post

I did mine quite 'easily' without removing the manifolds, 3.6 motor. The 3.4 is slightly different - from memory it's hardline in the middle vs flexy corrugated all the way on the 3.6 - and may be harder? I think all I removed was the throttle body and rearmost plenum, it just sort of threaded in. Hardest part was the connection to the aos, many attempts to get a good angle.
