This is not the post I wanted to make as I was planning on holding on to my 996 for a long time and hand it down to my son but I was recently diagnosed with something that requires medical treatment. This requires me to put my hobbies on hold for a bit and focus on myself and my family but I will be back in a Porsche at some point! Not going into my health details but it will require me to part ways with the car. Posting this as I'll be posting it here in the classifieds to give an enthusiast a chance prior to putting it on Bring a Trailer or similar site. This site is an amazing place so I will still be here even without a car for the comradery and knowledge sharing.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Best wishes, Swiss.
Best of luck with your health, and GLWS! Sorry to hear you’re forced to make this choice. There will always be another car.
Good luck mate, but most of all stay positive....
Thank you all and I am staying positive as that's the only way.
