I recently discovered that 986s had a function where if you held the key in the door's lock in the unlock direction, it would roll both the windows down (and roll them up holding it to the lock direction). Went to try this on my 987.2 and discovered that my car is not locking or unlocking with the key hole in the driver's door. I'm going to take a look and see what's going on, but I wanted to see if anyone else has encountered a similar issue before I pull the door apart.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey @three , that's a bummer the keyhole isn't working, especially when you were trying to test out that window roll-down feature. When you turn the key in the lock, does it feel completely loose, or is there some resistance? Sharing a bit more about what it feels like could help someone here figure out what's going on before you have to pull the door apart.
It feels completely loose. I remember thinking that it may not be connected to anything.
