Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Morning all, After not driving my car for 5 weeks , I needed to start it and surprise surprise the battery was flat. The worst thing was obviously apart from the sudden realistation that I now need to buy a new battery , was having to ask the next door neighbours to help me push it out of the garage to try to jump start it. We managed to push the car out whilst pictures were taken and various comments were made. Pulled my little 206 up next to it and attached the jump leads only to find that the battery wasn't strong enough to start it !! To stop this happening again and the ridicule repeating itself , can someone suggest a good quality trickle charger. Cheers Toby Migration info. Legacy thread was 79583
