Yeah! I'm pretty happy with it. It makes it a lot more cleaner in there. Clutch and transmission tomorrow! I might actually be driving this pig on Sunday!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

cool.... what comes withe the kit?
nice.
I have one as well as my first modification. The stock console would constanstly rub on my leg.... drove me nuts. The kit has the carpet covered box that fits over the space and frame created after removal of the lower stock console. It also has the small flat lip of plastic to cover the gap just forward to the shift cover base.

It's not a kit but there's two "parts" Carpet bits (3 of them) And a console cover. Arrowed in the following pic. $19.91 for the console cover $107.84 for the carpet bits. Sunset Porsche....
I just realized I can remove that manual holder too.... Looks like there are screws holding it. .2lbs woot!

Makes it look even cleaner!
Very nice! Had that in the GT3 and made driving soooooooooo much easier for those of us with long legs.

Can you let me know what kind of fastener holds the manual holder? I cannot get a look up there to see and so far have not been successful quessing.
Nice. This is actually one of my favourite mods. To me, 'minimalist' is part of the Porsche thing.
hey Ed... I have a beutiful set of mats for your car....they are easy to install compared to a transmission!! let me know PS the delete looks great
Yeah those matts look pretty rough. The velcro on the ends were not holding and I got tired dealing with them so I just drilled a couple screws in the ends near the seat so they won't slip! What matts do you have?
Part Numbers for the kit with Savannah Beige and Grey Metallic trim piece are: 989-552-113-02-s30 (@$107.84)for the carpet bits. 986-552-241-02-D05 (@$19.91) trim.

I'm just wondering how it's going to be with hard left corners and I was using that tray as a brace for my leg....

I thought you asked this on the other thread so I posted it there. There are two push rivets. You get a small 1/8" minus diameter pushrod or a punch and drive it into the center of the rivet(you would be driving it into the dash). I couldn't figure out how to do it first so I just yanked the whole thing off then realized how I could do it.
