Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

one my c4s I have a pipe going into the intake hose this I think is the crank shaft breather pipe. Ive purchased the k&n induction filter but the hose doesn't have the facility for this breather pipe. Where can I purchase a new intake hose with this facility

POST 2Original post

I assume you are possibly referring to the vent line from the Air Oil Separator? I guess K&N don't think that dumping unwanted oil vapour back into the engine was a good idea, especially when that unit fails! I would contact K&N or 9E who I think previously installed that kit on DavidO 996.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It sucks like crazy the pipe so I can't see how it would dump into the breather pipe. Iam sure that's how they are on the gt3 kit.

POST 4Original post

See this YouTube clip for installation. It refers to vent line for tiptronic cars and supplied adaptor, which installs into a customer drilled hole in the intake hose: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KT821NbMPfI

Thanks Geoff I thought that would be the case I've use my one hose and cut down it works a treat.
