Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am about to purchase a 997 Speedster and I wanted to know how you like yours and how much do you drive yours? I really like the blue but the one that has come up is white at a dealer and has 15K miles. Also I have noticed there are no private party cars, just dealer's. I don't want to overpay, and may walk away, so what is considered a reasonable price? Comes with CPO.

POST 2Original post

I wasn't even aware that there was a 997 speedster. Google confirmes it though. A *super* rare bird. Google also says only 356 were ever made so if you find one for sale that you can afford then you should probably buy it. https://www.classicdriver.com/en/article/cars/why-not-buy-a-complete-collection-black-porsche-speedsters

Very cool. Is it manual? Please post some pictures.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

All 2011 were PDKs, mostly blue with 40 being white. There are some PTS, how many I don't know. This is mine, number 43. Hasn't been delivered because of the extreme weather and auctions tying up drivers.
