Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am not interested in this as mine is great but I like the look of this red...Any ideas whats up with it? Its been there forever.. http://www.911virgin.com/996fnh.htm Migration info. Legacy thread was 72184

POST 2Original post

guards red with light grey interior could explain it.....................like i've mentioned before guards just doesn't suit the 996 for some reason.........and the light grey interior just doesn't help it either Migration info. Legacy thread was 72186

POST 3Original post

Also a very early 996. Same reg year as my 993! Migration info. Legacy thread was 72192

POST 4Original post

wonder what the mileage is ! Migration info. Legacy thread was 72193

POST 5Original post

It's R reg so it has probably done a million miles too! Migration info. Legacy thread was 72194

POST 6Original post

So one year left to have under Porsche warranty which is a big risk and worth low £20k's. Must say I like the guards red as opposed to all those boring greys and silvers. Would look better with a cream interior but as Porsche don't do that black would be the next option. Migration info. Legacy thread was 72201

POST 7Original post

Guards did look good on the C4S but agree, the narrow bodied one just isnt quite there in the same way as the 3.2/964/997 Migration info. Legacy thread was 72204

POST 8Original post

Red just doesn't work on a standard C2 I'm afraid, the coloured front indicators look awful against the red, probably stellar mileage (does Henry do low milers??). Grey interior is always a bit yukkie. Personally I think only the GT's & Turbos of the 996 range can wear guards. Migration info. Legacy thread was 72206

POST 9Original post

You would say that! Know what you mean about the indicators though! Migration info. Legacy thread was 72212

POST 11Original post

True - but you hardly ever see red turbo's! It will be mine one day though! Migration info. Legacy thread was 72237

POST 12Original post

i personally think the red looks superb, but fashion dictates you'll never sell it easily. Migration info. Legacy thread was 72660
