Evening all. I got my car back from the paint shop and noted that one of the roof rack clips was not seated correctly. I pressed it gently and it fell into the void in the roof. Does anyone have one of these spare? Do they have to be painted body colour? How are they supposed to work?
The roof rack clip/door pieces are very robust (and specific to each corner - i.e. they are contoured to the rail shape) - its the plastic clips they seat into that are the weak link. You can wedge a bit of material in so that the covers sit nicely, but new less brittle clips are the actual solution.
