I'm not sure if many here have seen the concealed V1 display with the lifespeed modifications, but I thought ya'll might be interested. He adds colors to the concealed display and they look much nicer.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

This really looks great. I don't know anything about the V1, but how was the installation done, and if you don't mind, at what cost, and finally, by whom. Thanks
Well, there isn't much to the install. The concealed display sits on top of the steering column under the gauge panel. I wired the V1 myself to the fuse box. My primary goal in displaying the pictures was to show the colored display, as opposed to the normal red display. It took me about 35 minutes to install the V1 with the concealed display wired to the fuse box.
Shouldn't the module be where nothing blocks it from recieving radar signals?
The main V1 body still hangs at the top of my windshield. This is simply a remote display. With this plugged in, the main display goes dark and only this one lights up. With this installed, I can see it while I'm driving but people (or police) behind me have a more difficult time seeing that I have one. I think it makes it look cleaner. I also love the colors.
smounic - Looks good. Who was the vender for the lifespeed modification display? zornet
Hm...might have to get a V1 then.
There is a guy named 'life_speed' who makes the modifications. I don't think its a business, I'm pretty sure he does it on the side. He will modify a concealed display if you have already purchased one, or you can purchase one already modified. I'll PM you his contact information What I would LOVE to see is a product such as the Stealth One. Their product integrates the V1 into the BMW console display. It is awesome, but I don't think the company is interested in making them for Porsche. the link is http://www.jaricdesign.com/products.htm
smounic- Thanks for the heads-up. And a belated welcome to the Club to you. zornet
