Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, Had my 98 996 C4 for a few months. It has Pirelli Asymetricos all round on 18 inch wheels with the tyres all down to 3mm. The Pirellis seem OK but lots of tyre noise. My friendly local dealer (Protyre) has suggested the following as alternatives - all are the same low price for 4 tyres and all in stock: - Pirelli Rosso N4's - Continental Sports N2's Which are the tyres to fit with the best compromise of ride/handling, wear rates and noise? Many thanks, Brian
