Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Looking for a a 996 cab or targa for a friends new venture into 911 ownership, up to around the £18K region, happy with a tip, S preferred, mileage not too important but most importantly a sound car with good evidence of care and maintenance. Ebay is awash with them but looking for one that's not just been passed between uncaring hands. Based in North West, so that would be a bonus. PM me if you prefer. Cheerio Andrew
There's a carrera 4 in the for sale section not a targa nor a convertible but looks if it would have been very carefully owned. O and its a little bit more but buying peice of mind must be a bonus.
Look in the posts there a convertible for sale and in your friends budget
