Need advice on how to remove the three silver/aluminum look plastic pieces on the steering wheel removed. I want to send them over to Bumperplugs for painting in guards red. Can't figure out how they come off. .

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I took a look at it and I don't think you can remove those pieces without taking out the airbag (looking between the airbag and the 3 silver pieces i can see screws in there). There is one screw on the back of the steering wheel on the bottom/center spoke. After removing that screw i imagine that you can pull the airbag out, but i didn't want to tear things apart tonight.
Thanks AtillaS, I'll take a look and see where I get.
