Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all. just wondering what temp the gauge should show. Also should it hold solid at that temp or does it shift a little? regards

POST 2Original post

Between the 8 and 0 of 80. May shift up 5-10c or so if stuck in traffic.

POST 3Original post

When up to operating tt will usually run with the pointer between the 8 and 0 of 80°. It will move up slightly in hot weather in heavy traffic. The gauges always seem to under-read. These are the conditions for the cooling fans to kick in: Switch-on conditions for coolant or condenser blower motors: Stage 1 is switched on when the coolant temperature is >100°C or there is an A/C demand, the intake air temperature is >8°C and terminal 15 (ignition) is switched on. Stage 2 is switched on when the coolant temperature is >105°C or the refrigerant pressure is >16 bar.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks gents. mine sits at 0-8 centre and in hot weather after a run and then stuck in traffic gets to just the right of 0. So all OK then..
