I won 2 short block case's in a auction, If the short block's turn out ok,meaning No cracked cases,no damaged crank's, and good piston's.. Etc, what would be the value be for something like that,..NO heads or fuel systems,.just the case and piston's,.. thinking to rebuild them or at least 1 of them and then try to piece together a nice 3.4 Ltr engine, Thanks Frank

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Hi Frank Two years ago I sold a short block for $600. Probably that was on the low side, but I had lost the storage space.
Thank You Sir

The 1st gen M96 engine has the thinnest,&weakest cylinder walls. At a minimum get a bore gauge & measure bore diameter top, middle & bottom. Or just send off to LN engineering for Cylinder upgrades.
Thanks, BYprodriver, I didnt think about doing that !

Call LN they may take your worst block as payment to refurbish your other block.
