Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Excellent lights, they accent the shape, flow, aerodynamics of the car perfectly.......
Cool! What year and was that a Le Mans winner?
Penske should have run that car , they would have had a chance of winning LeMans .

The Porsche GT1 won at the 24Hours of LeMans in 1998.

Had the #75 Porsche/Penske 963 not had a fuel delivery failure and the #5 Hertz/Jota 963 not cracked up it's tail section mid way in the race yesterday and then it's nose section this morning the Porsche 963 could have easily won the race as all were leading at the moment they had thier tradjic issues. The 963's were actually much faster than the Ferrari's and the Toyota's. The Cadi's were a serious menace to Porsche though. Cadillac came to race for sure. They were fast and were determined to beat Porsche.

Faster... in and of itself does not win in endurance racing and what Porsche and Penske in the top class and the new chassis in GT are putting on the track right now is not stacking up. To say I expected more from the Porsche/Penske collaboration is a huge understatement.

Perhaps I chose the wrong word "faster"... better words would have been "out performing". I was there... I watched the dismal and practically pathetic performances of both Ferrari and Toyota before the #75 and #5 Porsche 963's were off the track. As I said each time the #75 car and #5 had thier mishaps the were the leading cars in the race.

Must have been why Porsche/Penske was on pole. Oh wait Ferrari was. Oh wait, porsche did not crack top 3, behind those dismally performing Ferraris and Toyotas did it look different if you were there ? Regardless of your opinion, you have yours, I get it - results is results and the results for Porsche are not meeting expectations, ya know, finishing behind dismally performing Ferraris and Toyotas and Cadillac for good measure.
Hey I am a Porsche race fan so have been pulling for them . But all 3 of the Porsche Penske cars finished behind privateers Glickenhouse . That is just unacceptable no offense to Glickenhouse . As an endurance race fan I could care less about pole position or what your pace was in the middle of a race . What were your final results ? That's what matters . I am pretty sure neither Penske or Porsche are happy with the results.
