Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 1998 996 with carbon fibre trim to the dashboard and door panels. One of two areas are slowly curling up. I don’t want to damage the trim so have not attempted anything aggressive. 3M double sided tape didn’t work. Any suggestions please?

POST 2Original post

will need to be glues down again but first required careful pressing to get it back to shape

POST 3Original post

My air vent ones are doing this, one cracked when I pushed it back down, a bit of a pain! I intend to get them repaired at some point but it always skips my mind!
