Hi there! I haven't driven a car since I was in my 20s almost 20 years ago. Not really a fan of driving but always loved Porsches. I'm looking to purchase something just to drive around on the weekends near the country house in the suburbs. Which one would you suggest? Thank you 1.) Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Not really a fan of driving I don't get it Jerry, to me that's like saying "I never really liked music" but I always liked Mc Intosh amplifiers. I don't understand how it's going to matter which iteration of 911 you buy if the purpose of the car is an endeavor you don't enjoy. I'd probably lease one first.
LOL Well I'm from NYC where cars aren't particularly needed unless you like traffic and to circle the block for an hour looking for parking.
I totally get that, my cousin has a place in Manhattan and near Milton too. Also just the storage in Manhattan is incredibly expensive. I don't think the idea of renting one a few times first and heading out toward the Catskills is a terrible idea, you'll know quickly whether the car delivers the "aha" you think it likely will.
Thanks for the suggestion! Out of the 3 links I provided, which one would you go for?
Summer driver mostly? Drop top #3 or #1. Nothing wrong with tiptronic lots of people love them but PDK shifts like a rifle bolt, it's a lot of fun even though it's an automatic. Both of those PDK's have paddle shifting sport steering wheels, extra fun once you get out of the city.
The turbo is much older than the others, it’s really a different beast. The coupe is attractive because of the very low mileage. The cabriolet is attractive because it’s a cabriolet and a C4. Whichever one you choose, make sure to get a pre purchase inspection at a good shop before you buy. Good luck and enjoy your car!
Thank you!
I’d probably go for the C4cab, but I’m biased. It has lot’s of upgrades/nice spec.
