Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, Does anyone know an indy in Kent? I need to get the airbag deactivation unit programmed in... obviously just wanted to save a few quid in the process. Or is there a systems similar to VAGCOM that I could buy for the 996 ? Cheers Paul

POST 2Original post

Can't help with an indy in that area, but the only decent software for the 996 (apart from a PST2) is the Durametric system from the US. ( www.durametric.com ). However, I don't think it will do what you want - have a look at the features list on their site. There was a guy on Renntech who made a switchable modification to de-activate the passenger airbag. It might be worth a look.
