Has anyone ever removed the 911s Resenator and just straight piped it?? Does it make a huge difference on the sound as well as driving it?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

If you have emissions testing in your state you may fail to pass if you remove the resonator. If you have sound level restrictions in your state removing the resonator may be illegal. Replacing the exhaust or parts of the exhaust w/ aftermarket equipment is one thing, but removing OEM parts alone is something else. A "straight pipe" 911 seems something less than a "class act" but that's just one opinion.
