Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I got a 2000 cabrio. Silver on the blue. Thinking about a black MOMO alcantera wheel and and Black Forrest alcantera shifter. I thought about going blue shifter but I know wont match the cars interior so thinking may look odd. Being said car does have some black in dash and think black steering wheel and shifter may work. Blue stitching on the black. Anyone have it done can share? Thoughts on the products?

POST 2Original post

I just installed the BFI Heavy **** a month ago and Ive been very happy with it. Feels great and looks at home. I got blue plus a new leather boot with blue trim. I coupled it with blue CoCo mats, while they don't match exactly I'm happy with how they all look and feel together.

looks cool!! How hard was instal?

POST 4Original post

I have the ****, my old boot was torn up, install is easy. The worst part was trying to get my shifter ring to sit right since some of the tabs are broken, I could just glue but I didn't on the chance I get a stock one down the line.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Question. Do these ***** fit in stock 996 shifter lever? Web site say 964-997. Have none for 996 specially. Do I need to swap lever?

That means 964 thru 997... so 964, 993, 996, and 997. I have the black GS1 full billet **** on my 996.
