Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Do you think that Porsche engineers watch and learn from this site to address problem areas or areas for improvement? It seems natural that they would but...

POST 2Original post

I seriously doubt it. Excellent suggestion though. And it definitely would not be an engineer doing the monitoring, if there was.

POST 3Original post

Hi, They could very easily be Lurking on the site. But, for litigious reasons (and perhaps self-preservation), they don't come forward. Given the growth of Car-related Sites and Forums, they would be remiss if they didn't Monitor them... Happy Motoring!... Jim'99

POST 4Original post

Good question. Another would be, do they monitor the data that they get on warranty claims? Seems like they don't!

POST 5Original post

If they do it's only too see who is tracking or autocrossing their boxsters lol. Mitsubishi style.

POST 6Original post

I can tell you as an engineer for a finished goods manufacturer, I monitor sights dedicated to our products. Unfortunately, it’s not Porsche.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
