I replaced the fuel line vent valve and have a small cylinder shape object hanging down on the end of small electrical wires from the rear of the passenger wheel well, p hoto attached. Anyone know where this should go? Thanks.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

That looks like part of the switch that goes in under/inside where the valve is mounted. Take it apart again and look at it carefully, you should be able to see where it goes.
It should be part 29 and slips into part 12 and sits against the pipe.
I had to remove the valve to get it back in place. Thanks for the assist!!
