Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just bought a Bosch 5 bar FPR from a Bosch Motorsport Authorised dealer in Germany, the package arrived well protected in a box but the actual part was just in a bubble wrap bag - not a Bosch box. To be honest this didn't set any alarm bells ringing, it's a motorsport part and perhaps they don't use the usual Bosch packaging? What actually has me a little concerned, is that the part has SAMPLE engraved on the side of it along with all the correct usual part number information. I've emailed Bosch to check if it's legit, but it's the weekend and I'm not going to hear back from them anytime soon... Has anyone else seen this before? Thanks!

sounds like the Bosch Motorsport Authorised dealer has sold their off to shelf sample to you if it's supposed to be 'new' they should send you a new item assuming this Fuel Pressure Regulator hasnt been used ?

POST 3Original post

It seems the Brazilian parts can be of lower standard to German made Bosh parts. https://turbobricks.com/index.php?threads/bosch-parts-made-in-brazil-suck.250730/

Thanks for the feedback guys, I'll hold off installing it until I hear back from Bosch.
