Ok I did a detailed comparison of the August and September Order Guides (both available in our Files section) and here are my results: 1) NO NEW OPTIONS! - someone educate those salespeople please! 2) Sport seats in full leather now adds Cocoa to the MUST PICK ONE category, previously it was missing. This means you can get full leather sport seats if you have the full leather Cocoa interior. 3) For the folloing options you MUST pick either PCM 2.1 (option P16) or PCM 2.1 Extended Nav (option P23), previously only P16 was listed. Sport Chrono with PCM Electronic Log Book Module for Telephone 3 Spoke Multifunction wheel 3 Spoke MF wheel in Carbon, Sycamore or Makassar So it appears that the only difference between the two order guides is just some error correction. Nothing major by any means! Hope this helped!

So that probably means that options in the Configurator are not available in first wave cars? Example would be XPA thick steering wheel, XXZ alu foot rest, XLA chrome exhaust tip. Darn! -Pete
All 3 of those options are listed in both order guides as well as the configurator, but I can't say whether or not Porsche is accepting them at this time.
Hmm, yes. I guess it's when the sales guy selects in his screen at the dealer. I'll be talking with him on Friday as he returns from Frankfurt. I would really like to get that wheel. My 997 had a skimpy wheel since the fatter ones were not available in the early wave. -P
