strange in the Cayman Production Information PDF that was in a previous thread on this forum. They show pictures of what Porsche thinks are the next generation Audi TT and BMW M3. Its strange because its unlike a manufacturer to put an unofficial or unconfirmed in an official product brochure. On another note- its an extremely thorough brochure. All in all, I have to say Porsche has kept everyone very informed on Cayman information. Initially, I think it took them too long to approve it's production. It seems they had been toying with the idea ever since the first boxster in 1996 or so.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I believe those guides were produced in May when some of the newer car information was not yet available and it wasn't an excercise in spy gathering but rather in giving their sales people some information to go on in order to sell against competitors or move buyers from a competitor's product to theirs.
oh i see. i htought it was for the public. its amazing though how little dealers actually know about the cars they sell. they get this incredible sales literature showing everything they would need to know. Yet they are too busy wearing gold bracelts, suspenders and belts at the same time, greasing their hair and sizing up people that walk into the showroom.
