Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys, mine has come with this magnetic Rennline phone holder, it looks ghastly so I’m looking to remove it. It wiggles up and down, thought it might just pull out but no joy. I have some proper plastic removal tools and have tried a little prying and wiggling but don’t want to force anything obviously. Any hints on how to remove this central piece to aid its removal please?

POST 2Original post

you should be able to pull those tan side panels off iirc.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Really? Everything felt quite solid, don’t want to snap anything

POST 4Original post

Pull the tan side panel from the back (edge nearest to front of the car). When that unclips, pull the panel towards you (toward the rear of the car).

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
