Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

New to Porsche, this is my first and it sounds a bit off when starting[video attached] I had the battery tested and it checked out ok. And although it sounds weak upon starting it cranks almost every time. I did have an extended drive for an hour plus, and when I tried to crank it would not even try to start. I roll started it and then when I stopped and tried to restart, it worked, so I'm not sure why it would not restart after a long drive. Any feedback would be appreciated.
